Depending on the category, review may consider manufacturing and quality controls, ingredient or service specifications, consistency, documentation, usability and relevant independent testing. Third-party testing may be used where appropriate as a verification method within Quality and Safety.
How it may be applied
Third-party testing is not an eighth standard. The relevant checks depend on the category and the evidence available.
